New World Aeternum - Coral Divide Outpost Rush - Cliffs

This was the result of a team-wide effort by both Lost Boys Interactive and Amazon Games to create the PVP experience for Outpost Rush with the addition of Coral Divide. The assets featured in this piece are the result of a collaborative effort between Lost Boys Interactive and Amazon Games. My contributions were layout and set dressing as well as assisting in the execution of the desired artistic vision of my Art Director Michael Dunnam and Lead Peter Hartmann. Other responsibilities of mine included ensuring proper collision, kitbashing & optimization of all of the rock ceilings featured in all of the Caves and Baroness area, ground and vegetation asset placement within the Caves utilizing proprietary tools within Amazon's Engine Lumberyard, ensuring proper Gameplay working alongside Mike Padoongpatt, and fixing any bugs to ensure playability.

The lighting was done by Lighting Artist: Ethan Reeds. The terrain and biome work as well as technical aspects were done by Jonathan Tucci and Mia DelCasino. I would like to thank both Lost Boys Interactive and Amazon Games for the opportunity to work on such a wonderful addition to the PVP scene of New World: Aeternum with the addition of Coral Divide!

Myself: I took the Cliffs from first pass to final pass working with Blayde, Clement, and Ricardo to help support their various Points of Interest within the Outpost Rush Map. The artists made polish passes to my initial rock placement to best support their POI's with additional small touch-ups by myself as needed from design/art direction feedback and/or bug fixing.

Ricardo Cienfuegos - The initial cliffs pass was done by Ricky and was a huge boon to helping stand up such a large amount of content quickly and efficiently with a small team size. Additional polish passes were done for his various POI's as well. In some of the images you will see mostly green foliage that he was also responsible for that helped bring a lot of life to this map in various areas.

Clement Kirton - Clement was also responsible for the foliage in his respective POI's for the images with the stairs and the foliage in the immediate vicinity at the top of the stairs. He also made additional adjustments for the cliffs as needed for his POI. In some images you will see stone architecture that he also set-dressed.

Blayde Gilley - Blayde was responsible for the wooden architecture and set dressing in the images as well as the set dressing including the wooden ship and the POI in it's immediate vicinity.

Ethan Reeds - Did the lighting for the entire Coral Divide and was an incredible resource.

Jonathan Tucci - Handled all the technical aspects of the terrain and biome

Mia DelCasino - Also handled terrain and biome needs for Coral Divide

Further minor clean-up and optimizations as well as bug-fixing were handled by myself.

The amazing LBI New World Aeternum art crew. Special Thanks to Michael Dunnam, Peter Hartmann, Blayde, Clement, Ricky, and Ethan.
